Due to its beautiful location in the park of Goudestein, on the river Vecht, the atmosphere of the seventeenth century still breathes here. The permanent collection shows the history of Maarssen, the Vecht, and the beautiful country estates. In addition, the museum organizes a temporary exhibition about the Vecht region and its artists a few times a year.
