Besides swimming and sunbathing, there are other ways to enjoy yourself at De Strook. There are picnic benches, barbecue facilities, volleyball court, fishing jetties and a catering facility, where you can score food, drinks and ice creams.
Accessibility
From land, you can reach De Strook via Nieuweweg in Maarssen. On hot days, there is one-way traffic on Nieuweweg, so you have to detour via Breukelen from Nieuw-Loosdrecht. De Strook has free access and ample parking. In summer it can be crowded, so if possible, please come by bike.
The area is accessible (gates open) from 1 April to 1 October from 7am to 10pm and from 1 October to 1 April lfrom 9am to 5pm. Dogs must be kept on a leash.
